Heathen Peace was originally started as a short term sideproject, but after the release of “Civilisation Ends Here… “ in 2024 the decision was made to continue as a full blown band and ride into battle with no holds barred.
On their 2nd album “TOTAL FUCKING WAR” the Dutch power trio relentlessly blast their way through 7 scorching ragers and an ominous sounding instrumental. A furious journey through the barriers of sound and time, touching topics of pagan resistance, ancient deities and forgotten wars.
Since their debut release Heathen Peace has become more extreme with faster pounding beats, more intense blackened riffing and deeper barbaric growls contrasting gloriously with refined melodic solo patterns. All presented in a cold and clear powerpacked production that is both dense and detailed.
The tracks “Apollyon” and “Heath Dweller” feature guest vocals by Henke Forss from the mighty and majestic Swedish cult black metal machine that is DAWN! Adding even more darkened fierceness to the mix.
The album’s front cover pictures the legendary Snartemo sword that stands as a symbol for the migration period of barbarian invasions eventually leading to the collapse of the Western Roman Empire. Serving as a reminder that even the most dominant and powerful rulers will fall eventually
